Interpersonal Communication

Communication skills are the key to becoming more effective and getting ahead in business. Participants will practice skills that focus on communication including making positive impressions, using positive language and effective listening skills. When employees experience effective communication they will build great team-oriented workplace relationships.

 

 

Topics Include:

  • Understanding and practicing the techniques used by Top Communicators by identifying the habits, attitudes and behaviors of Poor and Top Communicators
  • Learning how to deliver consistently positive voice tone, facial expressions and body language that generates effective communications and builds productive work environments
  • Learning to focus on positive language rather than negative language to encourage communication and teamwork
  • Understanding barriers to communication and learning ways to overcome these barriers
  • Learn how to use empathic listening to fully understand what someone is saying
